Reach doesn’t support Fax natively but Now does offer a couple of solutions for fax loving businesses.
If you are mainly using fax for inbound fax then Now can set you up with a Fax to Email.
If you want to continue using your own fax Now can install an Analogue Telephony Adaptor (ATA) on the DDI which will convert the analogue signal to VoIP so they can continue to use their existing fax machine. Now will not guarantee the performance of fax over an ATA however.
No. We recommend that clients contact their alarm company to see whether they can convert their existing alarm to be IP capable so that the calls to the alarm centre do not travel over the phone network and instead signal back over the customer broadband network. We do not recommend use of ATAs for monitored alarms due to the implications of failure.
Almost all EFT-POS machines today operate over the internet. Your best option is to have it upgraded, or if not possible use an ATA. NOW will not guarantee the performance of an EFT-POS over an ATA however.
